Fire extinguishers - There are fire extinguishers on every intermediate floor on the stairs, behind the reception and in the basement, marked with a red fire extinguisher symbol.
Emergency exits - The emergency exits are located in the café lounge and main entrance area.

We have taken all possible measures in the event of an emergency (e.g. fire), which is unlikely but not impossible. For this reason, everyone in the building should be familiar with emergency procedures.
Fire/emergency exits
These are clearly marked on your floor. However, they can be difficult to see in dense smoke. Please take time to consider the following points.
- Count the doors between your door and the emergency exit.
- Determine where the fire extinguisher is on your floor.
- Try to find the lock in the dark and unlock the door.
- Leave the room key near the bed.
Fire situation
- Call the hotel's emergency telephone number.
- Leave the building if possible. Take your room key with you.
- If you cannot leave the room, close the doors.
Fire in the room
- Leave your room immediately. Take your room key with you.
- Close the door firmly behind you.
- Raise the fire alarm and inform your immediate neighbors.
- Call reception from the nearest telephone.
- Get to safety via the emergency exit.
As a precaution
- Do not use cooking appliances in the room.
- Do not smoke in bed – ALL OUR ROOMS ARE NON-SMOKING!
- Do not place wet clothes over a lamp.

- Take your room key with you and act carefully.
- Feel the door and handle with your palm. If the door or handle is hot or exceptionally warm, do not open it. If the door is hot, open it carefully. But be prepared to close the door immediately if necessary.
- If there is smoke in the hallway, stay as low as possible. Crawl if necessary.
- Go to the nearest emergency exit.
- If your exit is blocked, go back to your room. Stay calm and hold on to the wall.
Fire in the hallway
- Stay calm. You can survive a fire even if you stay indoors. Here are some things you should do while waiting for rescue.
- Fill the shower and sink with water (reserve water only).
- Inform reception of your whereabouts.
- Seal the door and vents with wet towels.
- Use the trash can to scoop water out of the shower if smoke enters.
- Remove the curtains from the window.
- If smoke continues to enter your room, protect yourself with a wet blanket.
- If the smoke becomes too thick, it may be necessary to open the windows slightly. If the windows won't open, break one with your chair.
- Keep windows closed if smoke or flames are visible from outside.
If you need special assistance
Inform reception of any personal physical ailments upon arrival or as soon as possible.
Remember that
Most deaths result from smoke and toxic gas inhalation, not burns. Stay as close to the ground as possible if there is smoke everywhere.
It may never happen to you, you may never need to use this guide, but you must always expect the unexpected. Be prepared and obey exits and emergency regulations in any multi-story building you enter.
